Jasmine Kim: Peace out HV

Yoooooo wassup HV?

It’s been a strange and short time here in Andre 116 and my time as an editor is coming to a close, but I’m going to miss spending my Friday afternoons with you weirdos.

Learning how a publication functions from inside and out was definitely interesting, and dealing with the positive (and negative) feedback was a pretty humbling experience. It’s crazy how much a group of students can accomplish when they all conjoin brains in the name of journalism and I’m glad that I got to be a part of it. I definitely loved waking up at an ungodly hour to commute to campus so I could deliver the paper at 6am on a humid AF rainy day. Best day ever.

S/O to Hannah for being da bomb diggity. You’re probs the best co-person I’ve had and will have ever. Thanks for teaching me literally all the tiny things about how this paper works, and thanks for always matching my level of frantic waving when we’d see each other in the library. Our vibes totally ride the same wave, and it’s been a cool experience working with you.

Jena, you are also da bomb diggity. Thanks for helping out a young and naive Jasmine find her way in the world of journalism, and thanks for giving me the realest career talks and encouraging me to come out of my shell (ew I’m cringe-y I know). Thanks for being the person I literally want to be, and making it seem totally realistic and achievable. I hope to one day be as cool as you.

Thanks rest of staff for not making me feel weird and laughing at my lame jokes. You guys make me feel pretty cool and I appreciate it. Thanks for sharing your meal plan with me on those trips to Jo’s, and thanks for waving to me when I see you outside of the office.

You guys are a rad group of people, and I wish I could have met y’all sooner. Forehead kisses for all of you.

Thanks HV for giving me the chance to be a part of something gr8.

Peace out!!11!!11!!!1 1!!!!1
