The St. Edward’s Men’s Soccer team went 1-1 over the weekend and ended their losing streak by defeating St. Mary’s University 3-0 in the Battle of the Saints rivalry on Oct. 28. The Hilltoppers were defeated on Senior Day by #19 Texas A&M International 2-1 on Oct. 30.

“Of course we show up to win in every game, but the rivalry with St. Mary’s definitely brings some hype to the game and usually leads to an extra competitive match,” Junior JR Ellis said.

In the game versus Texas A&M International Dustdevils, the team continued to attack well, but struggled to put away the ball, said Ellis.
