From superheroes and villains to Emperor Kuzco: Wizard World Comic Con takes Austin by nerdy storm
Wizard World Comic Con celebrated its 10th year in Austin this past weekend. This year’s con hosted the cast of “Smallville,” Cary Elwes and plenty of cosplayers in a variety of different costumes. Panels ranged from comics, to movies, to everything in-between. It was a gathering of Austin’s proudest nerds bonding through their shared love for all things nerdy. Comic Con fostered a welcoming environment for all who attended. From super fans to passive watchers, everyone in attendance had a great time and had the chance to meet the stars Wizard World brought to Austin.
Sam Levine of ‘Freaks and Greeks’ and Claudia Wells of 'Back to the Future' sit down on the Entertainment Stage in the Exhibit Hall to talk about their love for the 80s. Wells, who plays Jennifer Parker in ‘Back to the Future,’ has an extensive filmography and television background during the 80s and spoke about her time as an actress. Now, she runs a men’s styling store in Los Angeles along with working as an actress.
