Homecoming Week comes to an Icy End

Students+enjoy+the+ice-rink+in+blue+skates+with+a+view+of+the+top+of+Main+Building.+Ice+skating+was+free+for+all%2C+and+free+donuts+were+provided+as+well.+Students+had+a+full+weekend+with+the+Homecoming+Bash%2C+the+tailgate%2C+a+magician%2C+hypnotist+and+ice+skating.+

Students enjoy the ice-rink in blue skates with a view of the top of Main Building. Ice skating was free for all, and free donuts were provided as well. Students had a full weekend with the Homecoming Bash, the tailgate, a magician, hypnotist and ice skating.

Homecoming on the Hilltop brought lots of exciting activities for students and their families throughout the week and weekend. Students dressed up all week for theme days. The fun-filled week continued as students competed in a dodgeball tournament and trivia night. Many Hilltoppers showed up for Thursday’s basketball game and Friday’s Homecoming Bash. On Saturday there was a tailgate, a magician and ice skating for all. The parking lot was transformed into a magical rink with twinkling lights all around with a DJ, dancing, a photobooth and treats.

Students Angie Pastrana (left) and Valerie Kauffman enjoy the rink in the parking lot outside of Hunt and Le Mans. While it was difficult to skate on, they made the most of it and tried their best. Lights surrounded the perimeter of the rink and blue and gold lights lit up nearby trees, transforming the parking lot into a winter wonderland.
