Members of SEU community call for Obama to stop pipeline

Members of the St. Edward’s University community gathered in front of President Barack Obama’s campaign office on East Sixth Street last week to protest the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

The group met before the Nov. 7 protest to prepare cardboard signs with different quotes that Obama said during his previous presidential campaign, according to senior and vocal opponent of the pipeline Jarymar Arana.
