At Austin’s 25th annual South by Southwest music festival, singer/songwriter icon Emmylou Harris put on a performance that was both entertaining and charming.

A full house of happy festival-goers and devoted fans witnessed the performance, which was broadcast on KUT Radio in Austin on Friday. Harris shared her feelings about and hopes for her new album, which was released in early February.

Then, Harris played two songs from her new album “Hard Bargain,” including emotionally-charged ballads and heartwarming melodies. The singer’s performance of “The Road” left the audience mesmerized.

As the event came to a close, Harris announced that she has happy to be back. She then left her stage to continue her journey on the country road.
