I never planned to get this far. I never planned to join Hilltop Views. I also never planned to leave so early. A lot of my, admittedly short, college career has been forged by good fortune and gut feeling and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Though I’ve only been a member of the Hilltop Views family for a handful of months it has made a lasting impression and a notable start to my freshman year. In the next few weeks, I will be packing up to work in San Francisco for the summer and immediately after, ship my life over to Japan where I will live and study for the next two years.

Though my time has been short I am grateful to the staff and wonderful contributors, but especially grateful towards Sabrina Rohwer, who decided an odd day in fall to offer me a position as co-editor.

Nothing but thanks to my fellow staff, our diligent advisor, and most importantly our readers and supporters here at St. Edwards. See you in two years!
