Dearest Hilltop Views,

As my time as an undergrad student is coming to a close, I can’t help but reflect on the past four years that I’ve spent at St. Edward’s University. Though my time with Hilltop Views has been short, I have really appreciated and enjoyed having the opportunity to contribute to this paper.

What you all do for the St. Edward’s community is incredibly admirable. Your hard work and dedication to this newspaper is inspiring. I would also extend a special thanks to Jacob and Rosemond for hiring me as a photo editor this semester. Thank you, Sabrina for being an awesome co-editor and showing me the ropes.

I’d also like to give a big thank you to Jena for sparking my interest in journalism and media. College is such a weird and confusing time for many of us, but your classes and guidance just made sense to me. You are a remarkable teacher and the the things that I have learned from you will stick with me for a long time.

I should’ve joined you all much earlier, but there’s no sense in looking back now!
