Kelli O’Donnell: What is your major?

Kasey Harlos: My major is communication with a minor in biology. Biology was my major freshman year, but I decided to change it, and it was easier to just get a minor.

KO: Where are you from?

KH: I’m from Poth, Texas. It’s a really small town with under 1,000 people.

KO: What is your nickname?

KH: My teammates call me McLovin. My teammates and I went out and played laser tag over at Blazer Tag, and I won. So now everyone just refers to me as that.

KO: How did you end up at St. Edward’s?

KH: I got recruited to St. Edward’s to play basketball. I also got recruited to a few Divison I schools, but they were all out of state, and I wanted to stay in Texas.

KO: What is your favorite place to eat in Austin?

KH: Wahoo’s Tacos. I get the shrimp nachos every time.

KO: What is your favorite cartoon character?

KH: I like the roadrunner because the only time I got to watch cartoons was when the roadrunner and coyote were on television.

KO: What is your favorite fast food chain?

KH: Bill Miller’s Barbecue.

KO: What is your favorite piece of clothing?

KH: My socks and my shoes. It’s a fight between my tall socks and my shoes. I’ve had numerous people recognize me downtown as the girl who wears crazy shoes.

KO: Who is your hero?

KH: Spiderman.

KO: What is your favorite sports team?

KH: My favorite sports team is the Boston Celtics. I love Paul Pierce.

KO: What is your pre-game ritual?

KH: I go eat Bill Miller’s before every home basketball game. I get two pieces of fried chicken, extra crispy fries, and a large sweet tea.

KO: Mac or PC?

KH: I have a PC, but I’m slowly turning to a Mac.

KO: What is something that people don’t know about you?

KH: I’m deathly afraid of the dark. I’m also afraid of spiders and heights. But I still like to go cliff diving, regardless.

KH: “My Cousin Vinny.”
