Miley Liam romance back on; old Miley could possibly be back

Miley and Liam are back!

Rumors are flying that America’s sweet Hannah Montana and her dreamboat ex-fiance could be making their way down the aisle for real this time. After two years of calling off their engagement, neither Liam Hemsworth nor Miley have confirmed their recent reconnection just yet, but sometimes saying nothing says it all.

After some extensive Instagram stalking, I couldn’t find any posts of either celebrity on the other’s page. However, just because they haven’t confirmed it, doesn’t mean the rumor’s invalid all together. There’s no doubt the two lovebirds have seen the countless gossip pages claiming their re-engagement.

Because the whole world knew about their engagement, perhaps Miley feels hesitant to announce the big news in case her relationship all falls apart again. After all, her “Bangerz” album was clearly one huge subtweet at Liam. Although many girls (and plenty of boys) would be heartbroken to see Hemsworth go off the market again, I’d love to see the two give it one more shot.

Miley was every girl’s idol growing up. If you didn’t use your hairbrush as a microphone and run around lip-syncing the Hannah Montana theme song, you seriously missed out on a classic childhood moment. And while the majority of Miley fans support her new wild persona that has developed over the last few years, I think most Miley fans can also admit that they do miss the old Miley — at least a little bit.

Miley’s image made a sharp turn right after the split and part of me thinks Miley might have made such a drastic change in image because of her heartbreak. Since then, Miley has calmed down a bit in the past few months and there’s a fat chance it’s because Liam is back in her life. Of course, I am all for women’s independence, but just looking at the facts, it does seem that Liam kept her grounded.

It was clear that Miley was devastated over her break-up as she said in her heart wrenching song, “Wrecking Ball,” “I will always want you,” and I don’t think that’s directed towards Nick Jonas. Though the two have been apart since 2013, this power couple was meant to be and I honestly ship them so hard. As Nicholas Sparks would say in “The Last Song,” the film the two met on the set of, “Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn’t make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more.”
