Here’s what happened at the Student Government Association’s formal senate meeting on Oct. 11, 2023.

 

New Business

New members were inducted into the Student Government Association. These members are:

– Andrea Sofia Ruiz, External Affairs Director;

– Aggie Guevara, Elections Commissioner; 

– Kyle Patton, Judicial Officer;

– Laura Chappell, Big Event Director; 

– Max Velasquez, Big Event Programs Executive; 

– Eugene Inotu, Big Event Outreach Executive; 

– Ryann Kuosman, Big Event Registration Executive.

 

Financials

– A request for $182 by the Math Club for their first meeting of the semester (Approved);

– A request for $407 by the Physics Club for a solar eclipse watch event (Approved).

 

Bills Passed

Senate Resolution 03: The posting of Forever SEU authored by Senator Max Hoelker and sponsored by Senator Austin Lane (approved for final passage). 

 

 The meeting concluded at 7:18 p.m. with a final roll call.
