I remember that I heard about the first budget meeting for “Hilltop Views” during my freshman year and considered going, but I did not. What a mistake. Despite my earlier oversight, I eventually found myself at “Hilltop Views” in my senior year after some prodding from Prof. Beth Eakman Re.

Though my time at Hilltop Views has been fairly brief, it has been an amazing experience. This year of copy editing and writing for the paper has introduced to me so many wonderful people and has reaffirmed my career aspirations in publishing. I feel honored to have worked with such a great staff and to have worked on such a solid publication. Though it is hard to say goodbye, I am so thankful for all the time spent working and learning in the cramped newsroom and only wish I had found it sooner.
