Weekly SGA senate brief: Sept. 13, 2023

The first official senate meeting for Fall 2023 was hosted Wednesday in the St. Andre multipurpose room. The multipurpose room will be the new location for weekly senate meetings this semester.

Here’s what happened at Student Government Association’s Formal senate meeting on Sept. 13, 2023:

 

Resolutions:

– Senate Resolution 03 “Forever SEU”: To establish a page on the St. Edward’s University Website dedicated to recently titled alma mater Forever SEU. Authored and presented by Senator Max Hoelker. Sponsored by Senator Austin Lane (approved for first passage);

– Senate Resolution 04 “QR Code to Maintain Lighting on Campus”: To place QR codes on campus lightposts for malfunction reports. Authored and presented by Senator Austin Lane. Sponsored by Senator Max Hoelker (approved for first passage).

 

The meeting concluded with a final roll call at 7:13 p.m.
